Warsaw, 6 September 2016 - WPEF VI (‘Waterland’) bought 7,911,380 shares of Kredyt Inkaso S.A. in a tender offer, becoming the main investor in one of Poland’s leading debt collection companies with a 61.16% stake.

In a tender offer to buy shares of the Polish debt collection company, announced in July, Waterland offered PLN 25 per share in the first period of the tender, and then PLN 20 per share. Subscriptions to sell shares were accepted from Aug. 16 to Aug. 29.
Waterland has received all required regulatory approvals, from bodies including Poland’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
