Tomek Karpiński is Investment Director bij Waterland in Warschau, Polen. Daarvoor zocht hij als Associate bij EQT investeringskansen in heel Midden- en Oost-Europa. Hij werkte ook als Associate voor de Carlyle Group in Warschau en als Analist en Associate voor Goldman Sachs in Londen. Hij startte zijn loopbaan als Analist bij Citigroup in Londen. Tijdens zijn studies werkte hij als stagiair bij Credit Suisse First Boston in Warschau en bij Citigroup in Londen. Tomek heeft een Master in Banking & Finance van de Warsaw School of Economics en een CEMS Master in Internationaal Management. Tomek nam ook deel aan een uitwisselingsprogramma van de Stockholm School of Economics en de Heidelberg Universiteit.
