LionsHome was founded in 2014 and is one of the leading European product aggregation platforms in the home & living sector. The company has over 30 million visits per year in 10 different countries. Waterland acquired the company in February 2022 and plans, together with the founders Michael Röcker (CEO) and Christoph Königer (CTO), to develop the company into the leading European digital commerce content platform through a buy-&-build strategy.

Through a portfolio of different digital publishing models - such as product comparison, product review, cashback and voucher sites - the group aims to support consumers in their purchase decisions across the entire customer journey in different verticals (e.g. Home & Living, Fashion, Electronics). The first add-on was Fashiola, a product aggregator in the fashion sector with a reach of 25 countries. Through the acquisition, the annual reach of the group has already increased to >100 million visits.
